Updated Lynk & Co 02: 16-in-1 drive, claimed 12-minute charging

Purple trim, gold speaker covers and purple seatbelts set the scene inside the updated Lynk & Co 02. Lynk & Co has revealed the fastback crossover’s interior ahead of its Chinese launch, where the revised model will be sold under the Lynk & Co 20 name.

The more consequential change is beneath the cabin. Geely’s 16-in-1 electric drive will power the rear wheels with a 245 kW (329 hp) motor and a stated 93% efficiency. The 800V high-voltage architecture supports 6C fast charging, taking the vehicle from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes, according to the figures reported by CarNewsChina. Claimed range stands at 545 to 630 km.

The cabin keeps its existing steering wheel and touchscreen, but gains larger air vents, a 50W cooled wireless phone charger, physical controls and cup holders. A Lynk Sound audio system places speakers in the door panels and the driver’s headrest. There is also a panoramic sunroof, a thin LCD instrument cluster, a head-up display and a driver-monitoring camera in the A-pillar. Traditional door handles replace the previous door-opening buttons to meet the latest Chinese standard.

So what changes in practice? CarNewsChina reports a claimed 12-minute charge from 10% to 80%. The rear motor also gives the crossover a claimed 0-to-100 km/h time of 6.4 seconds, while the optional roof-mounted wing remains mostly decorative rather than signaling a sports car.

The update arrives after the 02 reached 49,356 cumulative domestic deliveries since its December 2024 launch, according to China EV DataTracker. Its reported price range is 104,900–142,900 yuan. The charging, efficiency and range figures are reported claims, and the updated model has not yet launched in China.
