Chery launches electric Fulwin T7 in China from 14,300 USD

Chery’s new Fulwin T7, a pure-electric compact SUV, starts at 97,900 yuan (14,300 USD) in China. The model is now officially launched in China in three trim levels, with the range topping out at 118,900 yuan (17,500 USD), CarNewsChina reports.

Under its rounded body, the T7 shares an architecture developed through Chery’s global R&D system with the Lepas L6, a related model already introduced in Thailand and South Africa. The car measures 4,570mm in length and uses a 65.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, paired with a single rear motor delivering 178 kW (239 hp).

The headline driving figure is a claimed 600km CLTC range. Chery says the battery can move from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes using fast charging. The cabin is built around a 15.6-inch 2.5K central screen, with wireless CarPlay, Huawei HiCar and CarLink; higher versions use a 4nm Qualcomm cockpit-and-driving chip with an NPU, a processor for neural-network workloads, rated at 72 TOPS.

Assistance is fitted across the line through Falcon 500, which uses 22 sensors: 3 millimetre-wave radars, 7 cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars. Every version supports automated parking in over 200 scenarios, while top trims add remote parking, valet parking, 100-meter track-back reversing and Highway NOA, meaning Navigate on Autopilot.
