Voyah has launched the Passion S in China with limited-time prices of RMB 223,900 to RMB 273,900, compared with official sticker prices of RMB 229,900 to RMB 279,900. The electric SUV is positioned against Xiaomi’s YU7, whose four versions are priced from RMB 233,500 to RMB 329,900. Source: CnEVPost.
The top all-wheel-drive Ultra+ version costs RMB 273,900 during the launch promotion, RMB 36,000 below its announced pre-sales price of RMB 309,900. The other versions use rear-wheel drive. Voyah is also offering dual zero-gravity front seats, power sunshades and a portable multifunctional ambient light during the limited-time offer.
Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 assisted driving system and four LiDAR units are standard across the range. The vehicle has 33 sensors, including one 896-channel LiDAR and three DTOF blind-spot LiDAR units. According to Voyah, the system can identify obstacles as small as 14 centimeters tall from 120 meters away.
The Passion S offers 630 kilometers to 740 kilometers of CLTC range from 81 kWh or 98 kWh batteries. Its 800-volt 5C fast-charging system supports a 20% to 80% charge in 10 min. The rear-wheel-drive version uses a 300-kilowatt motor, while the all-wheel-drive version combines 175 kilowatts at the front with 300 kilowatts at the rear.
So, concretely? Buyers in China get an electric SUV with Huawei’s assisted driving hardware, fast charging and up to 740 kilometers of stated CLTC range at a launch price below Xiaomi’s comparable YU7 versions. The Passion S remains a newly launched model, and its range and obstacle-detection figures are manufacturer-provided.
